UltraTech bags prestigious ‘Brand of the Year’ at ET Brand Equity Shark Awards

Bags nine trophies including one gold, five silver and two bronze for #BaatGharKi and #ChanceNaLo

 

July, 2022: UltraTech has been recognised as the 'Brand of the Year' at ET Brand Equity Shark Awards 2022. UltraTech won the maximum number of awards across different categories and thus bagged the coveted title. The award is one of the most esteemed awards which felicitates and rewards excellence in Marketing.

 

UltraTech won eight trophies, including one Gold, three Silver trophies and two Bronze trophies for its #BaatGharKi campaign. UltraTech has also won two Silver trophies for its #ChanceNaLo campaign.

 

The gold trophy was conferred under the Customer Engagement & Experience Campaign category. The Silver trophies were received under the categories: Best B2C Campaign, Branded Content Campaign, Integrated Marketing Campaign, Regional Campaign and Best in Real Estate & Construction sector Marketing campaign. Whereas, the bronze trophies were conferred under the Use of Experiential Marketing/ Events and Use of Audio Marketing categories.

 

The Shark Awards aims to recognise skills that resulted in excellent marketing campaigns across various sectors in the past year by marketing professionals.

 

The winning campaign, #BaatGharKi, was conceptualised by UltraTech, as the brand understands Individual Home Builders' (IHB) true motivation behind building a home. A home builder sees a home, not just as a structure but as one of the most important life milestone. Most IHBs often feel the need for an expert to empower them in the process of building their first home.

 

The #ChanceNaLo campaign, which bagged two Silver trophies at Shark Awards 2022, emphasises 'irreversibility' in the process of home building. It drove this message in various contextual situations when the consumers are most susceptible to resonate with the messaging. Through this campaign, UltraTech urges home builders to not compromise on the choice of the right cement as this is the most important decision in the process of home building. The irreversibility of this decision is key as it will determine the strength and stability of the structure.

 

This year's Shark Awards received about 500 entries from across the nation, covering more than 25 categories. Categories for this year's awards span across various sectors like Technology, FMCG, Media, Financial services etc. It distinguished work that really stood out, made a significant business impact and is among the most innovative and creative body of marketing work. The winning entries were reviewed by an expert panel of judges, which comprised of marketing industry stalwarts. The final winners were decided by a Jury Board, that had MDs CEOs and Business Heads of 18 leading companies/ businesses.

 

With this latest award, UltraTech's tally of marketing awards for this financial year is now at 12. Early this year, UltraTech won one gold and five silver trophies at Prime Time Awards and EMVIES 2022, and prior to that, the Company bagged a silver award at Global MMA SMARTIES X 2021 and 5 trophies including 3 Golds at MMA Smarties India 2021 along with the 'Brand of the Year' (India) title.
